At Marmomac 2025 we had the opportunity to present one of our most exclusive creations: a bathtub made entirely of Silver River (Silver Roots), a Turkish marble with a predominantly gray and silver background, sometimes with tones that fade into brownish or beige. The white, brown and dark gray veins that characterize this material can be thin or more marked, but always capable of creating very characteristic visual effects.
This project is the perfect example of how careful material selection, processing with advanced technologies and manual art come together to create a unique and refined object.
Block selection: the start of a special project
The creation of the bathtub began with the selection of the most suitable material: Silver River. This material is very versatile, suitable for many uses: fine interior floors (living areas, halls, bathrooms), coverings, decorative walls, sink tops, tubs, tables and stairs. After selecting the material, we moved on to the careful choice of block.
For this project we chose a block with particularly harmonious veins, capable of enhancing the shape of the tub. This selection phase is fundamental: it is not just about aesthetics, but also about structural quality, homogeneity of the material and absence of defects that could compromise resistance.

From block to shape: precision mechanical machining
The block was then worked with different machines to obtain the external shape of the tub. Thanks to advanced technologies, harmonious volumes have been sculpted while maintaining the precision required by a highly designed object.
First processing phase
After that, the most delicate phase began: the creation of the internal space of the tub. The use of specific machinery has made it possible to guarantee safety, precision and uniformity, reducing material waste and preparing us for the final finishing phase.
Second processing phase
Finishing and manual processing: the artisanal touch
After the mechanical processing, the time has come for hand finishing. Each surface has been smoothed and shaped to enhance the unique characteristics of the Silver River: the white veins, gray and silver shades and delicate darker streaks have been enhanced to make the bathtub a true piece of art.
Last processing phase
The combination of technology and manual work has made it possible to obtain a smooth and harmonious surface, pleasant to the touch and perfect from an aesthetic point of view.
The final result
The result is a bathtub with timeless elegance, in which Silver River marble becomes the absolute protagonist. The natural veins seem to flow along the surface, giving dynamism and refinement to a functional and at the same time scenographic object. Every detail has been designed to enhance the purity of the material and the softness of the lines, creating a perfect harmony between nature and design.
Presented at our Marmomac 2025 stand, the tub aroused great interest among visitors, architects and industry professionals. Many stopped to admire up close the quality of the workmanship, the continuity of the grain and the feeling of balance it transmits. It was a project that combined technology, art, design and artisan tradition, becoming one of the most appreciated and photographed pieces of our exhibition space.
